This is my second time staying here. This time I had a King size bed and the balcony looked over the square. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly. Wifi was very good.

Hotel Panellinion is full of history and I couldn't have picked a better option to travel for work. Right in the centre of the city, in walking distance to everything. Staff is very friendly and was very surprised to hear from their side, how the hotel has survived through the years, dated since 1906 if I am correct. They gave me their best room with my balcony view facing the main square of Trikala, as well as a glimpse of the river. At the reception I heard all sorts of stories about all the significant people that have stayed there, from politicians to art people and so on. The decoration is like you travel back in time (20's-40's style). Furniture may look outdated to some, but personally I wouldn't change a thing! As far as breakfast goes, they have a lovely table seating area next door, where you can order anything you like!

Beautiful resort, lovely layout and decor of the entire place. Delightful attention to detail both of grounds and interior space. Comfortable, inviting, great day indoors when it was raining. Hosts were wonderful, kind, welcoming, and informative. Breakfast was always fresh, elaborate, many home made goods, wide range of sweet to savory.

With the river in the middle of the city and all the bicycles on the streets it feels like you are in a big European capital. The locals take very good care of their city and it shows. Nice restaurants and bars, great shopping district, very beautiful historical sights. I could live there for sure!

A vibrant town that was great for wandering around.
A vibrant town that was great for wandering around. Not many concessions to tourists and all the better for that - you really felt you had the authentic Greek experience. In addition a number of good restaurants and excellent coffee shops. No real stand-out sights, though the old town, the castle and the mill were all worth a visit. Easy to do an excursion to Meteora as it was only about half an hour drive or train journey.

Tríkala is blessed with a progressive and expert-oriented city council. Its mayor is a figure in Greece’s urban planning scene. That makes Tríkala a very well-run city with pedways, a river walk, a beautifully restored historic core, which is also the epicenter of restaurants, cafes, and clubs, respect for its Ottoman-era monuments (Trikala features one of the most significant mosques in the region), and well-mannered drivers (stopping at crosswalks when someone is waiting to cross). Importantly, then, it’s the place to stay when you visit amazing Meteora!

Nice city which runs with European standards!
Nice city which runs with European standards! The only downfall is the traffic and difficult parking near the centre, but there's always the option to rent a bike if the weather allows. Not to be missed during Christmas time, especially from families with small children!

Beautiful city, lots to see, lots of history, centrally located to visit other cities and Meteora.
The river that runs through Trikala gives the city am amazing atmosphere.
It was my first time there I would definitely come back!
The small apartment is located in a beautiful, peaceful and quiet suburban neighborhood just a short ride from Trikala. The location was what really made a positive impression with beautiful country houses, wide roads, plenty of space and at night nothing to disturb the tranquility and the starry sky.
The apartment itself is very well renovated with everything one (or a couple) might need for a short stay. All the amenities of a modern house were there and the bathroom was well equipped.
The hotel is great, just in the centre, you can also find a parking in front (but you have to agree about it before)
The room is not very big, but the bed is huge and very comfortable
We had towels, dressing gowns and sleepers, which is not typical for a 3 star hotel ❤️
The bathroom is good and clean
Wi fi is fast
Breakfast is excellent
The staff is great
One of the best from small city hotels in my life
Last week we visited Trikala, together with our 14 year old daughter. The apartment was spacious, clean and centrally located. Nets on the windows. Iraklis was a great host, genuinely friendly and helpful. Visiting the major attractions was easy, as everything could be reached on foot. The front yard was perfect for breakfast. We would recommend Maison d' Alice and will probably stay again if ever back to Trikala.
The house is amazingly spacious and spotlessly clean, creating a very comfortable living environment. The fully equipped kitchen is a big plus, especially with the thoughtful addition of breakfast items, wine, and even small gifts for our kids. It's located just a 10-minute drive from downtown Trikala, making it easy to explore the area. The owners were very helpful and responsive.
It's a very nice super comfortable modernly designed hotel located on a hill and overlooking the valley. We enjoyed both staying in the room, as well the spa zone is amazing and very relaxing, though we couldn't have a massage as all was booked - so highly recommend to reserve it in advance. The breakfast is great with a great variety of food.
The room is spacious (for what I'm used to in Greece at this price range), the place is kept clean, the bed comfortable, the wifi was good mostly and the kitchen functional. Everything is in walking distance and Dimitris the owner was very accommodating. Definitely staying there again when visiting Trikala in the future.
Gallery Art Hotel stands out with its exquisite design and comfort. The combination of marble and wood in the bathrooms, along with high-end fabrics and luxurious furniture, created a luxurious environment. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel made our stay truly special.
We were upgraded to a lovely, large apartment. New, clean, modern. Comfortable bed. Super nice people, easy parking, 2 TVs/Netflix, good wifi, excellent breakfast with made to order omelets and espressos. Short drive to monasteries and good, inexpensive eating in Trikala.
The perfect city escape in Trikala. The hotel's modern amenities, comfortable rooms, and proximity to the town center made our stay convenient and enjoyable. The attention to detail in the design and hospitality of the staff made it a memorable experience.
During my stay in Trikala, the apartment offered a peaceful retreat. The quiet surroundings, coupled with its impeccable cleanliness and the free parking right in front of the house, contributed to the overall serenity. Highly recommend!
Excellent Villa few minutes from Trikala. Gives you the perfect comfort and feels like home. Tranquility all around, parking infront, and excellent host.
